Happy birthday to me! I'm 20 now!

Time goes by so fast, guys! Every single year, it makes me thinking about what I have done meaningful to be proud of myself in previous year. And I realize that, this time, every my decision was right, I'm happy and satisfied with myself thanks to being more optimistic and see things in different perspectives. The 14th Dalai Lama once said: "Choose to be optimistic, it feels better."

LSD

Ne, nemyslím LSD jako takové, ale Libor Sošťák Design! Libor je podle mě jedním z nejlepších českých designerů vůbec. O jeho tvorbě jsem se dozvěděla na své první PechaKucha Night Ostrava (tehdy už byla třetí v pořadí) a jeho prezentace mě asi jako nejvíc zaujala za celý ten večer (i ty další byly zajímavé samozřejmě).

Ale proč vlastně píšu tento článek. Chtěla jsem se s vámi podělit, co mě poslední dobou doslova uchvátilo. A tím myslím magickou instalaci, kterou navrhl společně s Lasvit pro The Peninsula Hotel v samotném Hong Kongu. Nedokážu si pomoct, ale strašně mi to připomíná ten shluk nekonečně krásných malých rybiček v moři na National Geographic. Připomíná vám to taky tak, nebo v tom vidíte něco jiného?

No, I don't mean LSD, the hallucinatory drug, but the actual initials of Libor Sošťák Design! In my opinion Libor is one of the czech great artists. I have gotten to known him from my first PechKucha Night Ostrava (thaht time it was the third already) and his presentation seemed very interesting for me (of, course the other presentations were good).

But why am I writing this post. I wanted to share with you what amazed me from Libor Sošťák's work these days. It was his magical bespoke installation which was collaborated with Lasvit for The Peninsula Hotel Hong Kong. I can't help myself but it brings to my mind a group of small fish under the sea in National Geographic Channel. Does it bring the same image to your mind? Or you see something else?

Be spontaneous!

Někdy je třeba být trochu spontánní a udělat první, co vás napadne. Jako například utéct z nudné svatby plné neznámých lidí a zašít se v ateliéru, kde se vyfotíte tím, co máte zrovna po ruce - nejlépe 5Mpx foťákem! :D

Sometimes you have to be a little spontaneous and do what you suddenly get on mind. For instance, run away from boring wedding full of unknown people and get to the studio, where you make photos just with 5Mpx camera! :D

My mum

Nekdy kdyz se kouknu na mamcine stare fotky, zjistim, ze kazdym dnem se ji podobam vic a vic. Ale musim uznat, ze nejspis lasku k mode jsem zdedila po ni. 

Sometimes when I look at my mum's old pictures, I realized day by day that I look like her more and more. But I have to admit, that I have probably inherited love to fashion.

Tak a zase se hlasim do sluzby!

Jelikoz jsem Vam nedala nic vedet, proc jsem s blogovanim sekla, me urcite povazujete za nejhorsi bloggerku. Vim to, ale mam pro to duvod. Byla jsem totiz v maturitnim rocniku a mela jsem toho nad hlavu. Tak me doufam pochopite.

Za par dni me ceka nastup na vysokou skolu a neverim, ze to nekdy reknu, ale ja se do te skoly normalne i tesim! Tesim se hlavne na sve nove spoluzaky, prostredi a zkusenosti.

Since you haven't heard anything from me why I decided to stop blogging, you might surely consider me a the worst blogger. I know, but I have an explanation. Whereas I was in senior year, everything was over my head. So, I hope you'll understand me.

I'll go to the university in a few days and I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm excited to go to school! Especially, to meet new people, be in another school environment and have more experience.
